What We BelieveWe believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God (1 Timothy 3:16). It does not lead to wrong conclusions; each word in the original manuscript is without error; and what the Bible teaches is true and relevant for every person. It is God’s eternal truth (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

We believe that God is an infinite, all-knowing Spirit and is worthy of our worship and obedience (John 4:24). We believe God is perfect in all His attributes. We believe God is one in essence existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is the second Person of the Trinity who died on the cross to pay the sin debt for all men. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity who dwells within each believer in order to conform us to the image of Jesus Christ.

We believe man was made in the likeness and image of God and, in his original state, was sinless. However, because of Adam’s sin, man came to experience spiritual and physical death; he became inherently corrupt and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God apart from His divine grace (Jeremiah 17:9). Man is inherently evil, not good.

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the only acceptable sacrifice for the payment of man’s sin. God made a way for man’s sins to be forgiven through the death of His only Son. “I am the way, the truth and life. No man comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

We believe that the only way that a person can have a real relationship with God is through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Christian life is a life of surrender to God. You must surrender all that you have, and all that you are in return for all that He is. We believe that life only begins to make sense when God is in His rightful place - at the center of your heart.

We believe the church is made up of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. We believe the church is a place where believers receive healing and grow in God’s truth, and where they are equipped to impact the world with the gospel. It is a place of grace.
