Wednesday evenings are a mid-week time of encouragement and fellowship.
SIMPLE SUPPER at 5:30 p.m. – The church family gathers to share a meal together. This is intended to be an informal dinner shared around the table with friends and family after a day at work and school so that families don’t need to rush home to prepare a meal before church. The meals are provided by volunteers and are intentionally “simple” (cornbread & beans, soup & salad, tacos & rice…and always dessert)! The cost is a suggested $5 (per person) or $15 (per family) donation.
BIBLE STUDY at 6:30 p.m. – Following Simple Supper, adults gather around tables or in the sanctuary for prayer and Bible study or content-specific studies. Topics and leaders are posted in the worship folder and rotate throughout the year. Generally, our studies focus on books of the Bible or Biblical principles. Our format is a very relaxed, conversational style of sharing where everyone is welcome to participate.
Our children and youth gather, as well, for a time of sharing about their week, praying for each other, and receiving a message of encouragement or challenge. Games, activities, and crafts are a part of the evening.
