We live in a hurting, broken and sin-sick world. “Everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.” (John 8:34) Sin’s bondage is so deceptive, we don’t even realize we are enslaved physically, emotionally or spiritually. We can be trapped by addictions, unhealthy relationships, unforgiveness, fame, work, destructive ideas, or countless other things. If anything is controlling us (aside from Jesus), we are in bondage to it. Until we are free on the inside, we aren’t truly free. Only Christ can liberate us from the things that enslave our soul and spirit.
Jesus is the great Liberator who wants to give freedom, joy and abundant life. He doesn’t want us to remain enslaved.
We want to help people become liberated to live by giving themselves fully to Jesus Christ as their only Master, whether that happens in our worship center, or in our workplace.
John 8:36 says, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!”
